Attorney Gregory Ceritelli

Gregory Ceritelli is a partner of the law firm of Knight, Conway & Cerritelli, L.L.C.  Before joining this firm, Attorney Cerritelli worked as a litigator devoting his practice primarily to criminal defense, police misconduct, and general litigation.  He is a member of the bars of Connecticut, New York, and federal District Court (Connecticut).  In addition to his private clients, Attorney Cerritelli is a Special Public Defender and has been approved by the Chief Public Defender to represent persons accused of crime who otherwise would be unable to afford competent legal representation.

Attorney Cerritelli is a former police officer and police commissioner. During his tenure as a police officer, Attorney Cerritelli received specialized training in detection and apprehension of drunk drivers, and was certified to operate the Intoxilizer 5000. He also received training from the Institute of Police Technology and Management in Jacksonville, Florida in motor vehicle enforcement and the detection and apprehension of drug couriers.

Attorney Cerritelli is a faculty member at the University of New Haven, where he teaches criminal law, constitutional law, and evidence to both the undergraduate and graduate schools of criminal justice. He also serves as a panelist on the mock trial practice seminar at Quinnipiac University School of Law.

Attorney Cerritelli graduated from the University of New Haven with a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
